Terms & Conditions

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy the Little Steps Complete Kit from this website. Please read them before you buy. By completing your purchase, you agree to them.

About us

Little Steps is run by [TO COMPLETE: your full legal name], a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, trading as Little Steps.

Business address: [TO COMPLETE: business address] Email: littlestepsfounders@gmail.com

What you're buying

The Complete Kit is digital content: step-by-step visual stories, preparation plans, Quick Prep summaries and the Little Steps Parent Guide, as described on our sales page at the time you buy. Nothing physical is sent to you.

Little Steps is new, and the story library is growing. At the time you buy, the sales page shows which situations are available. We add new stories regularly, aiming for one a week, until the library reaches 40 or more. Every story we add is included in your purchase at no extra cost.

You'll need an internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer with an up-to-date web browser to use the kit.

Price and payment

The price is shown on the website in pounds sterling (£), including any VAT that applies. Payment is taken in full at checkout by our payment provider, Stripe. We'll email you a receipt.

If a price on our website is clearly wrong, we'll contact you before your order goes ahead, and you can choose to cancel for a full refund.

Access

Once your payment is confirmed, we'll email your access details to the address you gave at checkout. If they haven't arrived within an hour, please check your junk folder, then email us.

Your right to cancel, and our guarantee

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract for digital content. When you buy, we ask you to agree that you want access straight away and to acknowledge that, once access begins, you lose that legal right to cancel.

We offer something better anyway: a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Little Steps isn't right for your family, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full. Our Refund Policy has the details.

How you can use the kit

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the kit with the children in your own household and family. You may print pages for that use.

You may not: - share, resell, upload or distribute the kit, or your access to it - use the stories, characters or illustrations in your own products or materials - use the kit for paid or professional work, for example in a clinic, nursery or classroom, without a licence from us

If you're a teacher, therapist or organisation and would like to use Little Steps, email us. We'd love to hear from you.

All content in the kit belongs to Little Steps or is used with permission.

If something goes wrong

The kit must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. If something doesn't work, email us and we'll fix it or replace it. If we can't, you're entitled to some or all of your money back.

We'll keep improving the kit and may update the stories or how they look. These changes won't take away the content you paid for.

Our responsibility to you

Little Steps is a preparation resource for families. It isn't therapy, a treatment or a medical product, and it doesn't replace advice from professionals who know your child. Please see our Disclaimer.

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses, because the kit is for personal family use.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breaching your legal rights as a consumer.

Your information

We use your personal information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Disputes

If you have a problem, please email us first. We'll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in your local courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your purchase is the one on this page when you bought.
